Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Juliette Vanhoeke, operating as Pulp Function (entrepreneur individuel, SIRET 883 271 306 00028, Humbercourt, France — full address available on legitimate request). For anything related to your data, contact contact@pulpfunction.studio.

What we collect, and why

When you use the contact form

We collect your name, email, an optional phone number, the type of work you're interested in, and your message. We use this solely to read and reply to your enquiry.

• Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
• The form is processed by our host, Netlify (see "Who we share with" below). We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing, and we don't sell them.

When you book a call

Booking uses Calendly. To protect your privacy, Calendly is not loaded until you choose to open it on the contact page. If you do, and you book a slot, Calendly collects your name, email and the scheduling details so we can meet.

• Legal basis: your consent (you choose to load and use it) and pre-contractual steps.
• Calendly is a third-party service with its own privacy policy.

When you simply browse the site

Our host (Netlify) processes standard technical data needed to deliver the site — such as your IP address and browser type — in server logs, for security and reliability. Fonts are self-hosted, so viewing the site makes no request to Google or other font providers.

• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other sites.

• Calendly may set its own cookies — but only if you actively load the booking calendar on the contact page. If you never open it, no Calendly cookies are set.
• Netlify may use a strictly necessary cookie for security/anti-abuse where required to deliver the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Who we share it with, and where it goes

We only share your data with the service providers needed to run the site and reply to you:

• Netlify, Inc. — hosting and contact-form processing (United States).
• Calendly LLC — call scheduling, only if you load it (United States).

Because these providers are based in the United States, your data may be transferred outside the EU. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (e.g. the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses). We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

• Contact enquiries: kept for up to 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
• Booking data: kept for the duration of our exchange or engagement, plus any legally required retention (e.g. invoicing records).
• Server logs: kept for the short period set by our host for security purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy (portability), and withdraw any consent you've given. To exercise these rights, email contact@pulpfunction.studio — we'll respond within one month.

If you believe your data isn't handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr.

Security

We take reasonable measures to keep your data safe, and work only with reputable providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we act to protect your information appropriately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
